Event Description:
Running a Non-Profit Organization in our modern economy and changing culture can be difficult.  Cheboygan Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a class to any Non-Profit Organization that is interested in learning some basic tips and best practices for the success of their organization.  Topics covered will be:
  1. How to budget and raise funds for your operations
  2. How to recruit new members and provide value to current members
  3. How to develop your Board of Directors and empower your leadership
  4. How to use local marketing resources to help tell your story
  5. How to mathc your desired mission with your mission statement and your perceived mission
​This class is being taught by Scott A Herceg, CAE, Executive Director of the Cheboygan Area Chamber of Commerce.  Scott is a Certified Association Executive and Organizational Development Specialist with fifteen years of experience Managing? Directing community Non-Profit Organizations and membership based associations.  He is also the author of "The 5 M's of Non-Profit Management".
